Using Text Exports in Excel
 

The Power Analysis Software (PAS) offers the means to export a tab delimited text file of the graph being displayed. These are handy to export into Microsoft Excel to create personalised graphs or for other analytical purposes. However, there are a few items that require explanation.

It has been frequently commented that there is no time stamp. What there is, however, is a start date-time and an end date-time. What is not commonly known is the "Resolution" is the "time between readings" value (and is in seconds, unless otherwise stated).

In our above example screen shot the value is 300 seconds, which is 5 minutes. Therefore, the first reading is taken at 15 March 2002 at 16:46, the second is therefore at 16:51, the third at 16:56, and so on.
